Fresh Cut Flower Care
We expect your flowers to give you lasting enjoyment!
Start with a clean vase or container.
We do not recommend using a metal or galvanized container unless you have a liner.
Fill your container with cool water and add the flower food.
Do not use softened water as the salt levels can shorten the life of your flowers. Be careful not to pour water directly onto the flower blooms.
Remove any leaves that fall below the water level.
Carefully cut about one inch off the bottom of each stem. Cut stems each time you change the water.
Keep your flowers away from extreme cold or heat.
Your fresh flowers are thirsty! Check the water level daily.
Your container should be washed regularly with soap and water to keep debris and bacteria from clogging up the stems. Simply remove or snip off any spent blooms.
Depending on the seasonal flowers you have in your bouquet, many, such as sunflowers, snapdragons, Lisianthus. will continue to open in the vase.
ENJOY!
